At night, you can see the lights of Merimbula across the lake, and the view was the highlight of our lovely, relaxing stay. The beach is about a ten-minute walk away. The airport is very close, so small planes fly overhead, but we enjoyed watching them.

I really enjoyed staying here. The place is peaceful, with a beautiful view, and restaurants and shops are close by. There are some great walks around the area.

Cetacea Apartments is in a great position at Fishpen, and the apartment was clean, with lovely modern bathrooms and a terrific view. Jeanette was a great host. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

It feels like coming home when we return to Cetacea, and this visit was no different. The lake, oyster beds, pelicans and township look magnificent from the apartment. It’s spacious and very comfortable, with beautiful design and decor. Jeanette is such a friendly, helpful host and does everything she can to make the stay memorable. We’ll be back as soon as we can.

We stayed on the ground floor, where there was plenty of room for three adults. The unit was spacious and comfortable, with excellent amenities, two bathrooms and an easy-to-access parking space. We could sit out on the grass with lovely views, and the balcony above gave us a bit of shelter during light showers. The location right across from the water was great. We could hear people upstairs walking in high heels and dragging chairs late at night, though. There isn’t much sound insulation between floors.
