We’ve been here in both summer and winter, and it’s become a favourite. The full kitchen made cooking big family meals easy, and the mattresses were really comfortable. In summer, we enjoyed cocktails out on the front deck while the sun went down. Winter has its own appeal, with a cosy fireplace and beautiful views of Mt Buller. You can even take in the scenery from the bath. A great getaway any time of year. We’ll definitely book again.

The big upstairs entertaining area, with its amazing outlook over Mt. Buller and the surrounding mountains, was our favourite part of the house. We recently stayed at Eagles Nest and it surpassed what we expected. The house had everything we needed, and we’ll be booking it again for our family’s annual holiday. Thanks for having us!

We’ve returned a few times because it’s always comfortable and welcoming. The front balcony has stunning views, while the rear one is a great spot for a barbecue and a glass of wine or a cold beer. Mt Buller is also not far away for anyone skiing. On colder days, you can settle in by the lovely warm fire with a book or put on the large screen TV. Highly recommended.

The location is alright, but the heaters in two rooms weren’t working. When I booked, I was told the house would suit a couple or a group. I explained we were three couples with a baby, but we were still given a double bed with a single bunk on top. I had to drag another mattress in from the next room so the baby could sleep beside me. I called the Eagles Nest staff, and the lady I spoke to was very rude. She said there was nothing she could do. That’s what we ended up with, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. Don’t choose it just for the location.

My family and I spent the weekend at Eagles Nest and had a fantastic stay. It exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back.
