The large bathroom was comfortable and had the basic facilities, and parking was convenient with dedicated spaces. There’s also a side door for guests as well as the main entrance. The living area was nicely arranged, though the photos made it seem as if there were a full kitchen. It’s really more of a bar counter than a usable kitchen, and the room lighting was dim. At exactly 10:00 am, the owner knocked and asked me to leave right away. My bags were packed and I was just about to return the key, so it felt abrupt. In many places, a few minutes after checkout time is usually fine. That may just be how this property is managed. The stay was acceptable, particularly for the parking and bathroom, but be aware the staff can be quite strict about checkout time.

The restaurant food was the biggest surprise. The chef can cook a steak perfectly and deserves a pat on the back. Honestly, it was very well done, and I think you’d struggle to find better. The staff were polite, helpful, and check-in was easy. The rooms were well priced and kept in good condition, with the cleaners doing a great job. Management and cleaning staff were all amazing.

We booked dinner and really enjoyed it. My partner thought the pork belly was amazing, and I had the butcher’s sausages, which were absolutely beautiful. We made a last-minute booking on the way from Cairns back to Sydney and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a King Room. It was spacious and very clean, with a huge, new, clean bathroom. I’d highly recommend staying here, and we’d definitely return to Bundaberg.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the food is NEXT LEVEL!!! The restaurant’s up there with the best places I’ve eaten in Brisbane and Melbourne, and the prices are much more palatable. 6/5 stars. I can’t wait to order again.

The room was comfortable and pleasant, just what you’d expect from this kind of accommodation. The bloke at check-in explained the features and requirements clearly and honestly. And a special shout-out to the young lady working Christmas Day who seemed to be doing the housekeeping by herself. Her energetic, polite service made checkout that much better.
