Bryan is friendly and easy to deal with, so contacting him directly is best. Our two-bedroom villa had a spa bath, was well equipped and looked out across the water. We even had our own gas bbq. The bed was comfortable, and although we were near the road into town, it was quiet enough that we slept like logs. There’s also bird seed supplied if you want to befriend the local birds. One of the villas has four bedrooms and elevated water views, which would suit families. We could see how the pool would be a great spot in summer, though the weather wasn’t ideal for using it during our stay. On our way home Bryan called to apologise because he’d overcharged us, which we hadn’t noticed, and said he was issuing a credit. That honesty is hard to find. We have no hesitation recommending a stay here.

We’ve returned to Edgewater Terraces several times over the past few years and will keep spending our holidays here. The position and views are outstanding. The villas are spotless, well maintained and have everything you could need. Bryan, the property manager, is welcoming and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. He works tirelessly to keep the property immaculate and makes our stays that much more enjoyable. Greg & Vicki Wood

Waking up in the terrace house to sunlight through the windows, birdsong and fog lifting was lovely. We couldn’t see the water from the room, though from the balcony we could just make out the Metung waterways. The boardwalk was a nice place to walk and watch the seals playing. We also booked the winter wellness package, which gave us the opposite to visit the hot springs, the Nordic sauna in the water at lakes entrance, and Metung restore yoga. It was a lovely visit.

Bryan was a wonderful host and kept checking that we were enjoying our stay. We were in a clean, spacious, double-storey villa with water views, in a beautiful area with amazing scenery. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone. Remember to bring mosquito repellent!

A whole house for less than most hotel rooms around here. It was clean, cosy, nicely maintained and had a washer and dryer and a great TV setup. The location was quiet, with nice views and a pool too. Brian was always there to answer questions and recommend places in the surrounding area. Next time I’m back around Lakes Entrance, I guess this is where I’ll stay.
