De Ville Apartments

The sea and sunrise views were beautiful, and it was quiet except for the sound of the ocean. We were lucky to pick this place instead of one of the other apartment blocks. It was fairly priced, had a full kitchen, and worked well for a longer stay since we cooked a few meals. Highly recommended.

The location and front desk staff were amazing, and we had a great couple of days at De Ville. The apartment was nicely appointed, and admin said they'd address the issues after we reported them at checkout. There were quite a few: the windows were so dirty it was hard to enjoy the view, though we understand the bedroom windows without balconies are difficult to clean. The living room window seemed like it should have been clean. The toilet brush holder was rusty with flaking paint, and some kitchen utensils needed replacing. There were yellow drips on the ensuite wall. The ensuite shower caddy had to be removed and put on the floor to use the shower. Water sprayed from the base of the bath faucet when turned on, and the shower to bath handle was just resting in place, unattached. The master TV didn't work, its remote was broken and the battery kept falling out. The carpets were in rough shape, though the front desk said they were being upgraded. The bathroom sink faucet was loose and nearly falling off. Since we were only there a couple days for our five year old's birthday, we let it go rather than have someone come in and disrupt the trip. If we'd stayed longer, we would have reported the issues on day one.

The apartment had everything we needed, and the facilities were great: a pool, hot tub, and an outdoor BBQ, kitchen and dining area. It felt really homely. Paying a little extra for the ocean-view room was worth it, with a stunning view across the road from the beach. Thanks so much, THERESA & TEAm. We’ll be back 🙏

For a pretty good price, we got an unobstructed ocean view, a view of the pool and even a peek at the Marina. The location is great, and for an older building it’s pretty nice.
