Indulge Apartments Langtree

This was the worst experience from the beginning. I travel weekly for work and stay in motels often, but I've never left a review before. People should know about these hidden fees. At 10pm, after following the process to get into the apartment with the fob, we couldn't get in. I called security to let us into the room and was charged $50. I called the Indulge Apartments call centre to explain how disappointed I was about being billed. When I complained, I got an email accusing me of being aggressive and saying my behaviour wouldn't be tolerated. I was a little frustrated with the process, but I wasn't aggressive. They have blocked any further correspondence from me. In their reply, they said reception had called them in hysterical tears after an aggressive call from me, and that this behaviour would not be tolerated or warranted. They said they understood I didn't like the accommodation and that this was my opinion, adding that regular return guests rave about it and they can't please everyone. They also said the description and photo gallery were clear. They said their security guard reported that he opened the door using the guests' fob, mine, and that it was user error. They said their terms of stay pass any call-out fees on to guests because the security company charges them. They also said they wouldn't accept further correspondence from me or about the booking, citing zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour to staff. DO NOT STAY IN INDULGE APARTMENTS!!!

The location was good, and management dealt with a couple of issues quickly. Still, we wanted a kitchen and an outdoor area, and the studio apartment had neither. I truly believe I hadn't booked the studio, which is no more than a motel room, definitely not an apartment. Why put a skylight in the bedroom? We'll look for other accommodation next time.

Apartment 3a was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a smart TV. It was okay for my two-night stay. There were no windows at all, only skylights, and I could hear conversations behind me and next door.

The clean, modern and spacious Langtree apartment was in a great spot for exploring Mildura. We stayed two nights as performer guests of the Mildura Writers Festival, who kindly arranged payment. We wanted to add another night in Mildura at our own expense, so booked the smaller Ontario apartment, which is further from the CBD but within our price range. Indulge kindly let us leave our musical equipment in the apartment past checkout so it would be safe until check-in was available at the Ontario. Or so I thought. I was shocked and devastated to find out they were charging for an extra night. After some pleading, the fee was cut in half. It felt unjust, and management and communication were very poor. I wouldn't stay again for that reason.
