The Art Gallery, breakfast, dinner, and sunset from the Tower were all excellent. We managed to do everything they offered during our two-night anniversary stay, and we were so glad we chose this place. Maybe the perfect weather helped, but we had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.
The service was excellent from the moment we arrived, whether at reception, the restaurant, the spa, or the wine tasting. Our room was lovely and really comfortable, and the bath was a great extra. We couldn't find fault with anything during our superb two-night break at Michelton. The standard was high for a very reasonable price, and we'll definitely return.
Muse restaurant's dinner and breakfast were delicious, thanks to the front house manager and chefs. Mitchelton hotel & winery is a beautiful, relaxing place, and the hotel manager and staff were very friendly. We had a great experience.
We loved our stay so much that we added a night because we couldn't bring ourselves to go home. We arrived on 11 Jan for two nights, and Tom the manager greeted us, making us feel we'd picked the right place at Mitchelton estate. The restaurants were amazing, and the breakfasts were well done too. The friendly, professional staff made a difference, and the housekeeping team kept our room to a great standard. The pool area was the hub of the place, with a bar and a great vibe. Sancho, one of the managers, really stood out. He went above and beyond for us, and we appreciated it. We enjoyed the experience so much that we've booked rooms for two nights later this month for five of us to come back and celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. Well done, Mitchelton, you've won us over 😊 Kind regards, Simon and Karen
The cabin section was peaceful, and the rooms were super luxurious and clean. The staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, and they made us feel welcome and comfortable. They tailored the tasting to our preferences and patiently answered our questions with enthusiasm and expertise. Their friendliness and passion for the wines made it educational and memorable. The wine tasting was great and reasonably priced. They even offered complimentary sour drinks, water, and a few snacks. I've been around a lot, but haven't had snacks and drinks on the house like that before. The classy, well-designed restaurant had nice people, too. The food was the one letdown. Breakfast was below average: my three-cheese omelette had absolutely no flavour, though the coffee was okay. The poached and toast cost $18, definitely overpriced. I tried the chicken dish at the restaurant and finished it, but it was so tasteless, without a pinch of salt. The food lacked flavour and seasoning overall.
