Moama Motel

Check-in was simple, and the staff were helpful and friendly. A couple of small issues came up, but they dealt with them promptly and successfully, with a smile. I’d stay here again 😀

It’s an honest, clean motel with a good comfortable bed and a nice, clean room. If you’re after a five-star stay with all the bells and whistles, keep travelling, this isn’t that kind of place. It’s opposite a great pub and next door to the Moama Bowling Club. What more could you want ?????

I came to find a clean room, and it was clean when I arrived, with a small milk packet in the fridge. But I’m here for two days and pay the same $110 each day, and there’s no daily room service. No bed made, clean towels, fresh milk, tea and coffee sachets, or biscuits. The rubbish isn’t emptied and the dishes aren’t washed. I’ve stayed at other motels for the same price or less and had room service. If I had to, I’d stay here for one night again, but never for more. You go away on holiday and don’t want to do housework!

I brought my husband here for his birthday and wish I’d never stayed. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and it was noisy, both from the road and the neighbours. The air con itself was noisy too. There was no fan option, no Netflix on the TV, and no working Wi-Fi. Apparently you have to cross the road to get into range. We couldn’t even make payment before check-in, and check-in was confusing because reception is across the road, away from the motel area. I strongly suggest staying somewhere else unless you have no option.
