Moama Riverside Holiday & Tourist Park

We’d already booked to return for the January holidays by the time we left. The park was super clean and well-kept, with everything we needed, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Great for families or anyone after a quiet getaway. The location worked really well. The Moama Sunday Markets are just a short walk across the road. The boys had a blast fishing nearby while the girls spent most of the day by the pool in the sun. We loved our weekend and can’t wait to come back!

Great staff, and we’d see the owners walking around every day. They’d always stop for a chat. It’s a beautiful holiday park in a great location. With two small boys, we made use of the skate park right next door, and the bike paths around Echuca/moama connect right at the front of the park. Moama beach is also a ten-minute walk or a short drive away.

My locked bike was stolen on our first night in a cabin, and losing it ruined the trip. I couldn’t do any biking, and I slept badly for the next few nights, worried someone might break into the vehicle or cabin. I’d definitely not recommend staying here. The cabin had strict instructions that bikes couldn’t be kept inside and had to be locked outside. I followed the rules, as I have at many caravan parks while camping. I mistakenly thought this was a nice caravan park, and locked my bike to the cabin deck railing because there wasn’t room for it in my vehicle. In the morning, the lock had been cut with bolt cutters or something similar, and the bike was gone. I contacted reception straight away, and they didn’t seem too surprised. They checked what little surveillance footage they had, but said the thieves know where the cameras are, so they found nothing. Police came by, but I was told this happens regularly and they’re unlikely to find the bike.

The guys at the caravan park looked after all of us so well. Since we were there as a group, they shouted us a large BBQ pack with rolls and bread. It’s a lovely, clean park, with clean, tidy rooms and everything needed. I’ll stay again and recommend it to everyone.
