I left my pillow behind, which was my mistake, then called and politely asked if they could mail it to me at my expense. It never showed up. Check-in was a hassle, especially through booking.com, and the unmanned reception screen is badly outdated. If all you need is somewhere to sleep, it'll do, but I wouldn't choose this accommodation in Moe again.

The place felt run-down, with stained carpets and walls. One of the local unsavoury characters knocked on my door late at night twice, which was worrying, though that wasn't the motel's fault. For a one-night road trip stop, the location and price were good, and the automated check-in kiosk was handy. The bathroom had been renovated.

The self check-in on the computer screen was easy. Our ground-floor room had high ceilings and a generous bathroom with a big shower, good shower head and water pressure. The queen bed was comfortable, though the couch was a bit soft and its webbing may be wearing out. We could hear some noise from upstairs when kids moved around on the floorboards. Handy spot near the station and shops.

Absolute rip-off. The online deal was charged in another currency, and instead of saving money I paid more than double. They refused a refund and said, 'too bad, not our problem.' The TV's HDMI didn't work, and a power socket was hanging off the wall. Absolute disgrace, minus 10/10.
