The location caught me off guard, since this kind of stay isn't what I'm used to in Australia. You'll need to drive about 25 minutes to find a restaurant, as there's nothing nearby. The cabin was rustic and dated in most areas, though the bathroom is modern. It was cozy and clean, with comfortable beds and fresh sheets and comforter.

The quiet and nature made this feel like home, and we slept so well. Even in the mountain setting it was warm with the AC heater. We arrived a little late and were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by many local residents. Pademelons and rabbits are easy to spot around the property. Check-in and check-out were simple, and for our one night we couldn't have been happier to find this place. Everything felt just right.

Being so close to Cradle Mountain was a real plus, and I'd recommend the place. The price wasn't cheap, but it felt like good value. Our cabin was cozy in the forest, and we spotted wildlife, including a type of wallaby, from the balcony. It felt like a proper house, with a living room, a kitchen with equipment, and even some spices. Super handy!

We chose this quiet cottage in the bush for our wedding night, and it was a lovely way to celebrate. The trees smelled fresh and nature's sounds greeted us when we arrived. Inside, it was cozy and beautifully decorated, with the modern amenities we needed alongside a rustic, peaceful feel. My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Thanks to our hosts 😁

I honestly wish we'd booked another night. The setting is secluded and surrounded by so much beautiful nature that I couldn't stop looking around. WiFi is available, though I wouldn't have minded if it wasn't. This is the sort of place to spend time outdoors. After dark, the sky was full of stars, something I hadn't experienced since living in NZ. That bath was spectacular, and I really enjoyed the bubblebath. A fluffy bathrobe to curl up in afterward would have been lovely.
