Privacy was one of our favourite things. We didn't see a soul, and the outlook over lake Baroon and the beautiful, lively rainforest kept us entertained with wine and a platter. The gardens are lovely, the units are fully featured, and everything is top notch. Tam and Jon were terrific hosts, ready to help with anything. We also loved the environmentally friendly products and produce. Breakfast exceeded what we expected, with top shelf produce and lovely extras, including fresh pastries left at the door each morning. The spa bath was brilliant. A romantic place to stay.

Listening to the birds around the grounds was lovely, especially the Eastern Whipbirds. I also enjoyed chatting about birds with the owners, Tamara and Jonathan, who were amazing and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. The Rosewood Cottage has been renovated and furnished so beautifully, with such care in the design and plenty of lovely small touches. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon. Mornings started with hot pastries delivered to our door, a lovely touch that made each day feel special. We also arranged an on-site couples massage, which was amazing and made the getaway even more relaxing. In the evenings, the private outdoor fire area and beautiful furniture gave us a great place to unwind. Lovestone Cottages in Montville felt like a private, comfortable retreat, with thoughtful décor and little details throughout. Set at the foot of the forest, it has peaceful views and a calming atmosphere surrounded by nature. We can't wait to return. A great choice for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. The cottages sit in and beside a stunning rainforest, which Tam and Jon have enhanced with their horticultural skills. We chose three nights at Lovestone for a special occasion and had a wonderful stay. The owners' hospitality is excellent, and the cottage design, fit out, and furnishings show a lot of careful thought and attention to detail. Thank you, Tam and Jon.

The rain actually made the cottage feel even cozier, and the views were lovely despite the weather. The indoor fire pit warmed the cabin beautifully. Inside, everything was maintained so well and done up nicely, with plenty of privacy and only the surrounding wildlife to hear. The cloud-like bed gave us a sensational night's sleep. The welcome hamper and bottle of sparkling were a lovely touch and went down a treat. Our BBQ hamper dinner, delivered on the first night, was absolutely delicious. We also had an in-house massage, which was really relaxing and well worth it. Phenomenal stay, we'd definitely come again. Thank you Tam & Jon
