The huge, luxurious space and comfortable beds would bring me back. The view is epic, and we were lucky enough to watch a lightning storm far off in the distance. I did find dirty dishes already in the dishwasher, and there wasn’t much to keep bugs out. A spider was making webs all over, bugs came inside because there were no screens to the outdoor area, and there were toads in the backyard and quite a few ants outside. I got bitten. The owner pointed out that bugs and things are part of nature, and I’m not really an outdoorsy person, so most people probably wouldn’t notice. I’d honestly stay again.

The house was absolutely perfect for our stay this weekend. It was spotless, spacious and had superb views, and we really appreciated all the thought put into making guests comfortable. I’d sincerely like to thank Mandy on behalf of everyone who stayed.

We had a girls weekend away at Montville Lodge, a group of mums who just needed to relax, and we didn’t have to organise a thing. Mandy arranged a package with a massage, lunch and dinner out, and even a bus to take us. There was also a yummy cheese platter waiting in the fridge when we arrived. The beds are so comfy, the house is spotless and has everything, and the views are beautiful. Absolutely awesome, can totally recommend!

We came away feeling relaxed and closer again as a family after a few days in this beautiful part of the world. Mandy made us feel completely at home, and all the thoughtful little touches made the retreat feel special. Montville mountain lodge, we’ll be back!
