The rainforest views from the balcony and a spa bath surrounded by nature made the Rainforest Spa Package feel special. The massage was professional and deeply relaxing, and we both left feeling refreshed. We also slept well in the comfortable bed and loved the shower. The fridge had plenty in it, and the plum port was a thoughtful touch that reminded me of my granddad. There was a big DVD collection to borrow, though we were out most evenings and barely used it. Alan and Aryna welcomed us warmly and even helped with our bags. We had great chats about life and our shared Kiwi background. The privacy and natural setting were wonderful for our first little getaway together, and the whole stay felt magical. We’ll be back in winter for the fireplace. Thank you for such a memorable visit.

Pink Ash was roomy, clean and comfortable, and we loved our two nights there. Alan and Aryna are lovely hosts. Breakfast supplies were provided for us to prepare in the cottage, with fresh pastries brought to the door each morning. We also ordered a cheese platter and bubbly for arrival, which I’d recommend. Alan kindly made dinner reservations in Montville and drove us there and back. We’d happily return.

Alan and Arena always welcome us like friends, and that personal touch makes us want to return. We’ve stayed in both summer and winter, and every visit has been a peaceful break from our daily routine. The rainforest cabins are quiet and tranquil, with all the comforts of a high-end hotel in a unique forest setting that makes the rest of the world feel far away. Breakfast provisions are lovely, and the fresh pastries delivered each day are delicious. We’ll be back often.

I can’t think of anything bad about my stay. From my first conversation with the host through to the goodbye, everything went really well. Alan’s service was immaculate, and his commitment to making sure guests have a great time is unmatched. I’d definitely recommend visiting when you’re around Montville.

The rainforest spa cabin was spotless and beautifully done, with a view that made it easy to switch off. It was so quiet and private, just right for an escape. Alan made us feel looked after from the start and went well beyond a basic check-in. You can tell he cares. We were treated to generous, delicious breakfast provisions and fresh pastries that felt like a little luxury. Calm, clean and genuinely special. If you’re thinking of booking, go for it.
