The motel room had much more than we needed for one night: a huge tiled main room, kitchen area, full-size fridge, microwave, spacious shower, washing machine, dryer and laundry tub. Check-in was friendly, and we had a guaranteed parking space, though everything was so close we didn't need to move the car. The pool and lawns were beautifully maintained, with a sauna and BBQs as well. I picked Newport Mooloolaba Apartments for our anniversary because we wanted to be near the restaurants and wharf overnight. It's one of the few places nearby without a two-night minimum, thanks to its five ground-level motel rooms. The location is about as good as it gets, beside the Sealife and Wharf complexes and a block's walk from the Mooloolaba Surf Club, beach, esplanade shops and food places.

We couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding stay. Our level had a stunning view that made a perfect background for getting-ready photos, and the rooms had plenty of space for families, couples or groups of any size. The location put us right among everything we'd planned for the celebrations. Staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the time before the wedding feel relaxed and easy.

The room was spacious and nice, but it needed basic maintenance and upkeep. With five of us in the cold weather, the hot water capacity wasn't great, so we had to take very quick showers to make sure everyone got warm water. The location and views are definitely five star. It came close to deserving five stars.

I only stayed one night, but would come back next time. The room was clean and spacious, and the ladies at reception were friendly and helped with my questions about the area. There's secure parking underneath, and the location is handy for shops and restaurants, with the aquarium next door.
