Riverdance Apt 8

The view from the Penthouse was beautiful, and we really enjoyed it. The renovated apartment looks fresher, but a lot of the changes are impractical. The kitchen has less bench space, barely any pantry room, few cooking pots and pans, and no bowls. The main toilet is much smaller, with a little sink that gets in the way of your legs and splashes water onto the floor when you wash your hands. The bathrooms have more cupboard space, but the showers leak all over the floor because there's no door. We were disappointed the spa was gone, and the old bedroom screens are dusty, full of holes, with the ensuite one looking ready to fall out. There were no plastic plates or cups, tea or sugar, Netflix or Foxtel. It was nice to have new cutlery and plates, though. The beds are described as one king, one queen and two singles, but it's two singles pushed together to look like a king, plus a double, not a queen. The view up top is lovely, but the space feels very bare and could be used much better.

We could walk everywhere from this fantastic location. We'll be back!

The beds were really comfortable, and the showers were lovely, with strong pressure and very hot water. The spa bath had good pressure too. It was a tidy, spacious apartment with lovely balcony views, and the staff were great and friendly.

A great place for a holiday, close to the beach.
