Poppies Bed and Breakfast

We loved it so much that we extended our stay. The oasis just beyond our porch, the eucalyptus scent, and all the birds made the place feel wonderfully relaxing. Our room was private and nicely put together, and Michelle was warm and gracious. Breakfast was both healthy and delicious.

Michelle really went out of her way to make our stay special, and helped us enjoy every minute. The room had lovely personal touches, and we were welcomed with a big smile, homemade cookies, and chocolates. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the pancakes. The grounds and setting were delightful, and after our 14-day stay we’re already hoping to come back. My husband and I felt very welcome, and the host was friendly. Everything we needed was there, and the place was clean and beautifully furnished. Thanks to Michelle and family, and to Ziggy and Hugo. We’d certainly recommend staying here.

Michelle made our anniversary trip easy and relaxing, and I’d happily recommend Poppies Bed and Breakfast. The room was fresh, beautiful, and clean, with the basics provided, and Michelle was glad to help with anything we asked for. She brought a plentiful, delicious freshly cooked breakfast to our verandah each day, and we could add dinner for nights we wanted to stay in. The quiet setting was a lovely place to unwind, yet within driving distance of major parks, views, and beaches. We enjoyed exploring the big attractions as well as local hidden gems, and Michelle shared helpful local tips and recommendations. Her granddaughter, the adorable 'secretary,' was too cute.
