Those window-side chairs became my favourite place to curl up with a book. We also loved being so close to the National Park, with an easy coastal walk right there and kangaroos turning up on the lawn outside every day. The hosts had thought of all sorts of useful extras, from hand wash and lotion to food wraps, salt and pepper, DVDs, books and beach chairs. We booked Apartment 2 at Arthouse Apartments, Emerald Beach for a last-minute five-night break and couldn't have been happier. It had everything we needed, and the beach view across the road was sensational. We managed a swim most days and would definitely book again if we return to Emerald Beach.

The changing tides and weather kept us captivated, and the views were wonderful from anywhere in or around the apartment. We had a lovely time on the beach and walking along the headland. Most of those walks were accessible with an off-road mobility scooter. Such a great place to stay.

The rooms were spacious, modern and very well looked after. The spot is hard to beat, with the beach only 50m away and coastline views to the north. There's a restaurant next door, while the general store and coffee shop are a 150m walk up the road. We'd happily come back.

The Solitary Islands Marine Park and 60kms of coastal walk are right here, and there's a stunning surf beach just 50m away. Add a great cafe/restaurant next door and superb art on the walls. It's a quirky space with quality fittings. I've stayed in plenty of places through my career in the travel industry, and the ArtHouse is one of the best. Love it!

Maryanne was lovely to deal with, communication was very good and every detail had been considered. Arthouse Accommodation is beautifully designed and decorated, exceptionally clean, and has a perfect beach view. There's terrific cafe next door and a short walk takes you to some amazing places to eat. One of the best places we've stayed. I highly recommend Emerald Beach and Arthouse Accommodation.
