The Beach Havens

We were sorry to pack up and leave Haven Oceana after a week with the family. A mate who’d stayed a couple of times recommended it, and now I understand why he kept talking about it. The house feels special and has so much space, with an incredible view from the deck. The beach is an easy couple of minutes’ walk in thongs, the surf was pumping most mornings, and the kids spent hours on the sand. We had a couple of rainy days, but it was still easy to settle in. The kitchen setup was great, the beds were big and comfy, and the coffee machine was a major win. The kids also loved spreading out with the board games and books. The house was absolutely pristine, as my wife put it, spotless in every drawer and on every surface. It felt different from AirBnBs that seem to be turned over in a rush. I messaged Leesa to ask about having two extra guests for part of the week. She replied straight away, was friendly, and had no issue with it, so my sister and her husband joined us that night. Everyone had room to relax. When we asked for extra towels, she had her cleaner drop them off within the hour. She was easy to deal with, responsive and happy to help. The design is thoughtfully done, with clean lines, loads of light and natural textures. My wife and sister loved the decor. There are nice touches throughout, including branded bathrobes, beautiful toiletries and umbrellas for rainy weather. The hardcover Welcome Book had useful tips, local spots and some interesting history of the area, which the kids and adults both learned from. It felt like a place with heart, and we’re already planning another trip.

The balcony had a stunning ocean view, and the beach was just a short stroll away. Inside, everything was beautifully set up with thoughtful details that made the property feel like a home away from home. It was impeccably clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed. Leesa was easy to reach and quick to respond to my questions. Her genuine care and attentiveness added a lot to my stay. I’d happily book with her again, and highly recommend the property to anyone after a memorable stay in Emerald Beach.

Leesa kindly showed us around the upper duplex at The Beach Havens as we plan a special getaway for after our house move. The views across solitary island, framed by lush tropical gardens, took our breath away. I can’t wait to relax on that enormous deck. For my 40th birthday, I booked The Beach Havens for a long weekend with four girlfriends. We spent our time lounging on the day beds and looking out at the ocean. The place took our breath away, and Leesa made everything easy, responding quickly and accommodating us. I arrived to find a bottle of Prosecco and a happy birthday card. Thank you, Leesa and Mark. The property is spotless, with a full kitchen for cooking up a storm, and you can walk to the beach. The design is inspiring, and watching the waves from the balcony was incredibly relaxing. This was my second booking. The first time was at Haven Oceana, booked through the website, and we stayed in Tropicana last time, which was just as beautiful. Five stars!
