When I arrived to collect the keys, the door was shut in my face. The room had faulty electrical fittings, and the appliances weren't tagged and tested. There were only two towels for three booked guests, and no milk for the tea and coffee provided. The eating and food preparation areas are meant to be smoke-free, but this was being used as a smoking area. I'll be raising my concerns with the council and health department.

I arrived after midnight on Friday with an urgent delivery from Brisbane and found the key waiting inside my unlocked room, which made check-in easy. I paid in the morning and was given a free coffee. Everything was clean and handy for getting around. I'd highly recommend it.

We'd been staying here several times a year for work for four years, and the former owner always looked after the property and guests. This time, my husband arrived at 7:30pm for a room we'd booked over a week earlier, only to find it had been given away at 3:00pm without any notice. DON'T BOOK THIS MOTEL.

We arrived at 7:30 tonight and were told our booking had been cancelled and there was no room. It had been made more than a week ago, but the new management chose to cancel it today and didn't care that we'd been left without accommodation. We'd used this motel for work for years. Watch out, this may be how they operate: if they think they can make more money, they may cancel your booking.

The rooms were tidy and well cared for, and we were very pleased with our stay. We were heading from QLD back to SA with a huge BBQ trailer we'd picked up on the way. The owners kindly let us keep it in a secure spot behind locked gates. We'd happily come back and highly recommend the place.
