Angel's Rest Motel

The internet worked better here than anywhere else we've stayed, and I especially liked that the car park gate was locked overnight. We stopped for one night in Moree on our drive from Cairns to Geelong. The room was a little dated but very clean, the bedding was good quality, and the service was excellent. I wish we'd chosen Angel's Rest for one of our two-night rest stops. I'd definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the stay. The kitchenette had the essentials, and the parking was secure, with the gate closing at 9:30pm. It was clean, good value for money, and the staff were extremely friendly and provided good customer service. This was our first stop while travelling through the states. Thank you :)

They were very friendly and accommodating, and even switched my room so I could park close by because I have trouble walking. I was travelling with my Jack Russell, and while the motel is dog friendly, I felt the room was well below standard for the $180 I paid. In five years of travelling between Brisbane Qld and Forbes NSW, this was the highest price for the lowest standard I'd experienced.

I'd give the service and value 10 stars if I could. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and this was one of my best motel stays in recent years. It's centrally located, with the gate locked overnight for security. The room and facilities were very clean, and the kitchenette had a stove and everything you'd expect. The interior is a little dated but didn't feel run down. The bed was above average for a motel, and I slept great. I'll definitely return next time I'm passing through.
