The room itself was excellent, and the location made it easy to get around. But cleanliness let it down badly. The bins in both the room and bathroom were still full, and there were leftover chips in the microwave.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and parking felt secure behind the safe carpark. The room was neat and clean, with a comfortable bed and a shower that was hot with great water pressure.

Handy location, low price for one night, and friendly staff. The cleaning was only average, though, with hair and cobwebs still around and cracks in the walls. There’s also a high step into the bathroom that could be a safety hazard.

The bed was awful, sinking in the middle and leaving me sliding into a dip all night. The floor was so filthy and sticky I wore sneakers around the room, and my shoes got grimy enough that I slipped outside in the morning. The shower wouldn’t drain, so the bathroom flooded. I can’t understand the good reviews. If you’re after somewhere cheap and nasty, this is it, though even then it should cost half as much. Terrible stay from beginning to end.

Everything else was acceptable, but the mattress was so sunken in the middle it felt nearly broken. I couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep, and the bed really affected my stay.
