We had a really quiet night, and the modern bathroom was clean. The room felt fresh, with spotless white linen that seemed good quality, and the manager was so friendly and helpful. Free guest laundry and secure parking were handy extras. It's an easy walk to the aquatic centre, with a delicious Chinese takeaway across the road. There's a small electric cooktop in the room, or you can use the huge guest kitchen. Fabulous stay, I'll be back.

I was glad to leave a day early. There was no hot water in the shower, though the beds were okay and the room looked clean, if dated. Parking was very tight, the lawns were overgrown, and the gardens needed attention. Outdoor furniture was scattered around and made things look cluttered. I said hello to the woman cleaning rooms and she just grunted, which felt rude. At night, people wandered past, and a car was chased by police at high speed around 3am. With a request to lock the gates after dark and CCTV monitoring the property, it still didn't feel like a safe place to rest.

The couple who checked me in were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome. They showed me to the room and checked I was comfortable. It has a modern feel, especially the bathroom, and there's a nice takeaway around the corner. I wouldn't expect much from a country hotel, but this place in Moree really surprised me. A relaxing night here is a gem of a find.

This is an oldie but a goodie, with a good price and very friendly management. Our refurbished room had lots of space, a full kitchen, and comfortable beds. Parking is secure, there's a yummy Chinese takeaway opposite, and the Public Thermal Pool is across the road too.
