The hosts were friendly and helpful, while still giving us all the privacy we wanted. We were sorry to leave and could easily have spent a week here with plenty left to do. The apartment is peaceful, with lovely garden, field and hill views, especially at sunset, and there are lots of nearby activities. We really enjoyed the bike ride from Dalmeny to Narooma, and the shorter ride around Tuross was beautiful too. Moruya has a couple of good-sized supermarkets, and the hosts can point you to good-value fresh oysters. Inside, the one-bedroom apartment is huge and comfortable. The bed was great, the lounge and dining area had good heating, and the kitchen was well equipped for the three dinners we cooked. The modern ensuite had plenty of hot water. We also loved the homemade multigrain loaf, bacon, free-range eggs, yoghurt, butter and milk provided. Really glad I chose to stay here.

The green hills around Moruya made for a lovely, peaceful view, and Bryn Glas is well placed for getting into town and exploring nearby. Tony & Esther made us feel welcome, and they were attentive and open to suggestions. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of work into the building and grounds, and in our chats they mentioned more plans to improve things. Our suite was clean and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it for a quiet, scenic break.

The gardens were immaculate, and everything inside was spotless. From the front balcony there’s a spectacular view over the hills and mountains. Breakfast supplies were great too: we loved the fruit, yogurt, eggs and homemade bread. You can meet the friendly chickens, who come over to the fence when you walk past. The owners were lovely and did everything they could for us, and their well-behaved dog Satin was a delight. Moruya is a lovely community. Hope you enjoy it as much as my fiancée and I did!

I’ve stayed here four times now, and bringing my furry friend makes it easy to get away for a few days. It’s the best farm stay. The hosts are welcoming, easy to get along with, and happy to chat or share local advice.

We slept so well during our long drive between Sydney and Eden. It was wonderfully quiet, and the farm-fresh eggs were a treat. The homestay was beautiful, calming and immaculate. Huge thanks to Esther and Fred the Dog for making us feel right at home.
