Quality Inn Presidential

We’ve stayed here several times with our children and always come away impressed. It’s spotless, parking is easy, and the attentive staff know the area well. They’ve suggested suitable holiday activities and places to eat. Stay here, you’ll be happy.

The motel offers good value and features, and room service was attentive with no delays. We stayed in the Executive Suite, Room 40. It felt modern, with plenty of space and light, and was clean. The pillows could have been softer, but we’d brought our own, so it wasn’t a problem. It’s about 5-6 minutes from the city centre. We thought the two complimentary water bottles might cost $3.50 each, so it would help to mention they’re included on arrival. We brought our own water anyway, so it was no issue. The exterior light does need replacing.

We stayed three nights in an executive suite. The beds have spring mattresses and are very comfortable, but if you’re sensitive to disturbance from your partner, I’d suggest getting the executive suite with two beds. We asked to upgrade to one with two beds after the first night, and they were very accommodating. The executive suites are quiet. Standard rooms sit closer to the road, so traffic noise could be an issue there. The location is central to everything in Mt Gambier, and the staff and service were great. A great place to stay.

Our room at the back was huge compared with other motels and very clean. You couldn’t hear the highway at all. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. I highly recommend staying here!
