Comfort Inn The Lakes

The rooms were spotless and quiet, and the staff were approachable. Nothing seemed too hard for them. I usually don’t use hotel bedding, but I would here. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Friendly staff, and it’s clean and well maintained. The pool is heated and on site, and you can open the window to enjoy the crisp MtGambier air. It’s a three-minute drive to the city center. The rooms are a bit shy on space, the bathroom has an 80’s style with minor renovations, and there’s no breakfast available for business travellers. I was here on a business trip.

We had a great view of the town, and the room was clean with a comfy bed. The staff were friendly, and I’d stay again. A few small, easy fixes could have made this five stars. The outdoor chair needs replacing because its rusty arms could scratch someone. If you’re elderly, I’d ask for a room where the cars park on level ground, as some spaces are on a slope.

The indoor pool was great for the kids, and the location overlooking Mount gambier, right next to lakes, was awesome. It was also very reasonably priced, in my opinion. Tam was lovely and so helpful, the staff and service were amazing, and nothing would have been too much to ask. Mia from room service was lovely too. Highly recommend 👌🏻
