We brought three generations of family together from all over for a long weekend party and had a fantastic time using the whole site. The pool was a delight, and the grounds were glorious and immaculate. Our rooms were beautifully presented and appointed, and we enjoyed the other amenities and activities too. Barry and Judith were supportive in such a good natured, non-intrusive way. Highly recommend.

We booked accommodation for 15, and Judith was patient, helpful, and amazing to deal with. The Pool House and Barn exceeded our expectations, and everyone wondered how they’d never heard of Samford Lakes before. They’ll be telling anyone looking for a place to stay to check it out, and we’ll definitely be back for more weekends away soon. There was plenty to keep the group busy, from the pool, pizza oven, sauna, and tennis court to the lake. The views were stunning, and it was a great spot to sit down with a few drinks. It’s a beautiful place for a romantic weekend, a group getaway, or a catch-up with friends.

The booking was a week earlier than we meant to arrive, but Joanne and Norm were very accommodating and arranged for us to stay that weekend anyway. Such a beautiful property, with a peaceful, stunning lake view. We got out on the lake in a kayak and worked up a sweat on the tennis court. We’ll definitely return, and I can’t recommend it enough!

I was in town for a nearby training seminar, and The Stable was just right for my stay. It was clean, charming, and homely, and gave me a good place to rest. Joanne was pleasant and helpful throughout our communication. Next time, I’ll bring my family and camera because the grounds are lovely and picturesque. Highly recommended 👌

We had a lovely honeymoon stay in the Spillway Cottage for two nights in January. The hosts were kind and accommodating, and everything was clean, quiet, and comfortable. One small drawback: the main living and dining area, where the bed is, was full of light by 4:30-5AM. Blackout curtains there would help if you’re hoping to sleep in. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.
