The roses at Forgandenny House alone make a trip to Mudgee worthwhile, and sitting with coffee on the verandah was lovely. It's also an easy walk to the heart of town, with off street parking available. Robbie and Errol welcomed us so warmly and thoughtfully that it felt like staying with friends. Our room was comfortable, clean and beautiful, with roses from the garden as a lovely touch. Breakfast was a highlight, with Robbie's delicious fruit dishes, then crumpets and toast and a hot breakfast. Tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes were available through the day too. We'll definitely come back ❤️

The house and gardens at Forgandenny B&B felt magical, and the breakfast by itself is worth the trip to Mudgee. Robbie and Errol were such great hosts, going out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Can't wait to return.

The house, dating from the early 1900s, has so much charm, and our room was peaceful and elegant. Breakfast each morning was delicious and far exceeded what we expected; we also appreciated having tea, coffee, cookies and cakes available during the day. It's a short walk into the heart of Mudgee, where we enjoyed the cafes and restaurants. Robbie's hospitality was thoughtful, gracious and attentive from the moment we arrived, and we felt genuinely looked after. We've travelled widely and stayed in many kinds of accommodation around the world, yet Forgandenny House was our best experience. We'll happily recommend it to friends, family and anyone after a peaceful escape. Thank you, Robbie and Errol, for such a memorable stay. From Len and Rosemary

We were so well catered for as vegetarians, and every scrumptious three course breakfast came with Robbie's delicious handmade jams, marmalades and lemon curds. The rooms were extremely comfortable, and the garden is incredibly beautiful. It's an easy walk to town attractions, with the park and river right across the road. Robbie is lovely.

The bedrooms are bright and very comfortable, and Robbie makes a scrumptious breakfast that's not to be missed. Forgandenny B&B has old world charm and has been in the family for generations. Errol and Robbie are fantastic hosts, helpful and full of information for visitors to Mudgee. The town center is an easy walk away. Highly recommended, the best place to stay in Mudgee.
