We found a lost dog while travelling from Coonabarabran, and the people running the place took him to their own home for the night until we could find his owner. They were incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was spotless, with a big comfortable bed, and the location was close to everything. It was a beautiful spot for our night in Mudgee, and we hope to stay again.

We had a three night break and really enjoyed it. The hosts were friendly and knew a lot about the area, and there’s a great cafe downstairs for an excellent coffee. Our room was beautiful and the bed comfortable. It’s just a short walk down Market St to plenty of cafes and shops.

A short walk gets you into town, and the hotel is central to everything. The room felt modern but still had a touch of heritage charm, and it was comfortable. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

We were on the upstairs floor in room two, with lovely access to the balcony, and the ice machine was a godsend. The room was amazing, clean and well appointed. The bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning kept us cool through the 40 degree days. It’s a short walk to the CBD. When we locked ourselves out within ten minutes of arriving, we knew there was no one at reception, but one quick call brought someone over in five minutes. We stayed three nights and were very happy to recommend it.
