We didn’t stay overnight, but came for lunch and had a lovely time. The owners are beautiful people who made us feel welcome and looked after. The menu changes regularly and includes some of the best British food, like Scotch eggs and Ploughman's. Dogs are welcome in the garden, and the balcony has lovely views. High tea needs to be ordered ahead, but it’s worth a try.

I’ve been to a few high teas on the coast, and this is easily my favourite. Liz is lovely and the food is always amazing. We’ve celebrated four birthdays here and plan to keep coming!

Our group enjoyed a tasty lunch, with a cheese and onion pasty and salad, plus fish pie with chips and salad. Liz is a lovely lady, and the setting and surroundings are beautiful. The Village B&B feels like a home from home for expats, and it’s an interesting place for anyone to visit, with great food and service.

You pay for the bed and breakfast, and the lovely people hosting you are a bonus. They gave us great recommendations for places to visit, and we’ll definitely be back. If I could give six stars, I would. The hosts were amazing and so sweet.

A fantastic property in a great location. I really liked the antique teapot collection, and the menu and tea selection were delightful. The staff were professional and accommodating.
