I’ll take my business elsewhere. When I called to book a room, a man shouted at me and a woman who seemed clueless hung up twice. She said they don’t do accommodation because they’re a “resort” and suggested I must mean the motel down the street. I’m still not sure what kind of resort doesn’t offer accommodation.

The kids’ petting zoo was a real highlight of our camping trip. Staff were friendly, prices were good, and there was food and coffee. The menu covered breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Happy Chappy was great value, with plenty of food choices and helpful, friendly staff. It’s a great little place to stay, and a good pick for an evening out. There’s a licensed bar, and you can also BYO.

Mudjimba is a lovely little suburb, close to everything, and only two minutes from Sunshine coast airport. The place has a good-sized pool, tennis courts, golf at Maroochy river, and an Italian restaurant in house. A fantastic spot for a holiday.

Dino's Café is a small downstairs café with a beer garden out back. Its Italian menu costs less than at other Italian places, and the pizzas, pastas, antipastos and gelati were excellent.
