Lake Edge Resort

There’s heaps to do at the resort: indoor and outdoor pools, spas, a sauna, games room, half tennis court, basketball hoops, playground, barbecues, and outdoor dining. The rooms have what you need, so just bring clothes and food. It’s right on the bank of Lake Mulwala, where they’re catching Murray Cod over 70 cm, and across the bridge Yarrawonga has all your shopping covered. The Ski Club is next door, with live entertainment, a restaurant, cafe, bingo, pokies, and a boat ramp. A great spot for the whole family, and hard to beat for location.

The location is beautiful, but our stay was overshadowed by how the staff, especially the receptionists, treated us. We tried to sort out a problem with the coffee deal and were met with little respect or courtesy. The receptionist was unhelpful and spoke condescendingly to us and our friends. We felt unwelcome and uncomfortable during the stay. I hope management addresses this unprofessional behaviour, because it took away from what could have been an enjoyable experience.

The grounds were tidy and very clean, and the swimming pools were crystal clean. The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the location right on the lake is a top spot. At night, though, it was very noisy because the club next door was doing cleanup into the early hours. I think rooms nearer the lake might not have that problem.

The staff were wonderfully friendly, and the rooms comfortable, with fabulous pools and facilities. On sunny days, even in winter, it was relaxing to be by the beautiful lake and out on the water. 🌞💖
