The pool itself was great, though the grime on the tiles around its edge looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The kiosk pricing was odd too: one friend paid $4 for a litre of UHT milk, and the next day another paid $6 for the exact same milk. I spent last weekend in my motorhome on a powered site. The area was barren, with no decent grass or trees, and the site felt dangerous. There were about six different levels, mostly covered over unsuccessfully with old, rotting fake turf. The levels were hazardous, and the tiled patches outside my van had broken, sharp tiles left lying there. I also drove around like an idiot trying to find the dump point. There was no bright blue sign, just a grey one that blended into the fence. The bins were so hidden that unless you were a man heading into the men's amenities, you'd never know they were there.

A quiet, pleasant park right by the lake, which is handy if you're into fishing. We had a powered site with our 22’6” van. Some sites are a tight squeeze, but overall it's a nice place to visit. Staff were helpful, and town is only a short drive away. The local bakery is great, though its hours were funny. We went at 3pm and found it closed. There are plenty of shops and places to eat in Yarrawonga, across the bridge.

The park stayed quiet and clean for the first few days, then some late arrivals changed the mood. There was loud music, swearing, and noise until 11.30pm, and the amenities weren't respected. I felt sorry for the staff, who did clean up. The park used to be an NRMA park, but it was recently sold and is now independent. Our booking was initially muddled because there were three families with different people, and there were issues with the guest details too. It eventually got sorted. Sites are mostly blue metal with cement slabs, some uneven or a bit damaged. They are very tight to get into, so arriving early was lucky. Two of us with longer vans might have struggled reversing in. The internal roads are one-way and narrow. There is plenty of spare street parking, but only one car space per site or cabin. There are two pools, plus a tiny pool beside the second one, a shallow end with mushroom waterfalls, games room, tennis court and jumping pillow. Across the road there's a boat ramp and parking. Yarrawonga CBD and the foreshore are about 4km away. The comments below are about other guests, not the park itself. Lots of parents let unsupervised kids ride scooters and bikes all over, which felt like an accident waiting to happen.

The pools were stunning, and the playground and jumping pillow are together, so there was plenty to keep the kids busy. We had a powered site with our camper trailer, with ample shade near the camp kitchen and games room. Facilities were a little walk away, but the toilet in the games room was handy for the kids during the day. Reception staff were lovely and shared local tips for food and things to do. Cabins seemed to have their own outdoor BBQs. The boat ramp and lake are across the road, and down the road there's a fantastic playground with slides, a flying fox and an old train engine. Shops and the ski club are an easy drive. We'll definitely stay again.

The peaceful setting was a highlight. Even though NRMA Yarrawonga Holiday Park is centrally located, it felt quiet and relaxing, just right for a restful getaway. Everything was very clean, and the amenities were well maintained and easy to use. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help, which made the stay welcoming. I was thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it for a calm, comfortable stay in the area.
