We spent a lot of time just watching the animals out in the paddocks. The cottage had everything we needed, and it was such a peaceful, cosy getaway. Our host had the fire going before we arrived, so it was warm and welcoming. She was lovely, gave us our privacy, and was there if we needed anything. We’ll definitely stay again.

The view around the cottage is pure magic, and the place has so much charm. We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and everything felt cosy. Vicki was a wonderful host and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay. We’ve stayed at a few other places around Collie and Allanson, but this one was much more memorable. If you’re visiting Collie, I’d strongly recommend staying here. Thanks so much, Vicki. I wish you all the best.

Loved sitting outside at night to look at the amazing stars, and the wood burner was a real treat. It’s such a quiet, beautiful place to take a break from the city, and it’s dog-friendly too. There are lots of places for long walks, with Collie only 20 minutes away. I’d highly recommend it.

There were nine of us for a weekend away, and the place was spacious and really comfortable. It felt like home, with beautiful sunsets and a relaxing view to enjoy together. Vicki was a great host, and we’ll definitely be back. Next time we’re hoping to come in winter for those crisp, cold mornings by the fire. The water in the dam was very low after a couple of extremely dry summers.

A calming, quiet place with beautiful decor. The host was pleasant and easygoing, and the self-contained space worked nicely for a couple and our two dogs. It was especially nice that the dogs were allowed inside.
