The location allows guests to explore the surrounding bushland on foot or bike, fish or swim at the beach. Woodman Point has fantastic facilities including a pool, internet kiosk, games room, camp kitchen and plenty of things for the kids to explore.

The location has plenty to do nearby, and our large site was easy to get into. But the ground was mostly bare, as it was on nearby sites, and the mat was so badly ripped it felt like a trip hazard. Bring your own mat if you want to avoid falls. The toilet block near us smelled as though it hadn't been cleaned in a fortnight. Maybe the poor ventilation was to blame, since there were no windows and just a small fan in one corner. This was our second Australia Day stay with a big group. Everyone agreed it would be our last.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of trees for shade. It's a big park with good amenities, close to lots of different activities, but far enough out of the way to stay quiet and peaceful. We love it here and often book for two weeks at a time. That's how much we enjoy staying.

The kids had a great time at the playground and pool, and the staff were friendly and really accommodating. We spent three days on a powered tent site for our first camping trip here. There was plenty of room for our 10 person tent, gazebo and car, and the amenities were clean each day. We'd love to come back and would definitely recommend it.

The shower pressure was great, according to my husband, but the toilet block only had three toilets, and when I went, they either had no toilet paper or it was stuck. The camp kitchen was very small too. The pool was locked at 5.30pm even though it was still light, despite the sign saying it closed after dark. The games room has a pool table and ping-pong, but you have to get the gear from reception, which shuts at 5pm. There was no seating for adults by the playground, and the swings and flying fox have been removed. We stayed one night at the end of our two week WA family holiday, and I was glad it was only one. This was the most expensive caravan park of the ones we'd stayed at, but the amenities and things to do didn't come close. Being woken at 7am by a tree chipper was a terrible start to the day.

The location is good and the park itself is nice. Late check-in was no problem, and the staff at check-in were great. The camp kitchen was another story: it was meant to open at 7am, but was only casually opened at 7:10, and it hadn't been cleaned. Food scraps were everywhere and the tables were dirty. After four weeks travelling around WA, this was the first kitchen we'd found locked and also the dirtiest. With the site costing that much, you'd expect it to be cleaned before opening. Otherwise, why lock it? The WiFi doesn't work either.
