You get about what you’d expect for cheap accommodation. The room and amenities were mostly clean, though I noticed dust on the bedside lamp, which wasn’t great with my allergies. The entrance doors could use some attention. They slam when guests go out, and you can hear and feel it from the room.

Jess handled all the correspondence, and was professional and nice. The location is handy too, with about five dinner options just a short walk away. I’d booked the Black Friday special and wondered whether a cheap room would be clean and comfortable. Mine was both, and private, with an ensuite. We’re already seeing if we can fit in a Murray Bridge stay on our next trip to Adelaide. Great place.

There wasn’t anyone at the front desk, which gave me pause at first, but it turned out not to be a problem. Once I worked out the coded entry door, I found a spacious, well equipped room. It’s an older place with a bit of character, and you reach the rooms by stairs. The wooden floors creak, though that’s part of its charm.

It’s an easy place to get to, with simple parking, and shops and the bridge just a short walk away. We really enjoyed staying here. The room had been refurbished nicely. It was large, with a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom, while keeping the high ceiling and slash windows. The kitchenette was well stocked, and there was a minibar if you wanted one. A marvelous spot in the town centre, almost beside the river, and parking was no problem. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the essentials well stocked. There was plenty of room in the bathroom and shower. I’d recommend it.
