It's wonderfully quiet at night, with no passing traffic or other guests disturbing your sleep. The little farm cottage sits among landscaped gardens and has a carefully put together interior with antique furniture and a queen bed with electric blankets. There's a fireplace with wood ready to go, plus reverse cycle AC if you need it. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped, and there's an outdoor BBQ for cooking while you enjoy the surroundings. Daylesford and Hepburn Springs are only a few minutes away by car. Passing Clouds winery is a short walk along the laneway behind the studio, with lunch, tastings, and bottles to take away. Highly recommended.

We loved the gardens and can't wait to stay again. Musk Farm Studio is warm, beautifully presented, and a lovely spot for a special couples' weekend. It's only 6-7 minutes from central Daylesford, too.

The garden oasis and peaceful atmosphere gave my overworked mind a real rest after Melbourne's recent COVID 19 lockdown. Madlene and I also celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary there, and the studio and English gardens brought back happy memories of Manchester. After two days, we came away feeling replenished. The owners' fastidious work caring for the gardens honours Stuart Rattle's legacy. I have no hesitation recommending MUSK farm, and I've already referred a designer client who I think will love it as much as I did. Thanks again.

Best experience ever, and I'd strongly recommend it for a family of 2-3 people. The town centre and Daylesford are only a 5-6 minute drive away, with restaurants, bars, wineries, hot springs, and more all within reach.
