Sahil, the Front Office Manager, made our three-night stay memorable. He was phenomenal and gave us such great service even though the hotel was busy and fully booked. We've stayed at hotels with much higher ratings and haven't had service like his. Accor are lucky to have him. The location was excellent and the hotel itself very functional too. The room was lovely and we were comfortable. It's an older property, but clean, with upgraded facilities, a great restaurant and superb staff. Erin at reception made the stay feel complete. She gave us bus numbers, routes and a printed timetable for getting into the city, wrote down opening times for the attractions we wanted to see, and handed us a handy map. Nothing was too much trouble. She even came over after breakfast to ask about our sightseeing and was genuinely interested in what we'd done and where we'd suggest other guests go. Please pass on our thanks. She made us feel welcome and brightened the whole stay. We'll be able to contact her at the hotel next time we come back. That welcome was a relief after a terrible check-in. I only wanted to ask if our room was on the ground floor, but the Pakistani lady was very rude and offered no customer service. I had trouble understanding her accent, and when I asked her to repeat herself, she raised her voice and spoke loudly and rudely. I felt extremely embarrassed.

The beds were comfy, and the shower was big. The room itself was okay, but it had no kitchen. I stayed for four days and heard some thumping sounds while in the room. The breakfast buffet was okay for me, and the pool was comfortable but cold. An average three-star stay.

I only needed a room for one night and arrived with my expectations already on the floor. Somehow the place still fell short. Brown, watery-looking stains covered the pillows, sheets, carpets and walls, and the sheets had mold. The air made me feel as if I were having an allergic reaction all over, like even my lungs were itching. Everything made me itch, and the room felt like a prison. The bin was broken too, though that was a minor issue. I just wanted to shower, sleep and leave early, but the body wash was exactly the same as the shampoo. The conditioner seemed to have gone on vacation away from this hellhole, because there was none in the bottle.
