Stockman Motor Inn

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room itself was old, worn and quite dirty. I found mold in the shower, stains across the carpet, a large spider and several webs. The only lock was a door handle lock, which didn’t feel very safe, and proper curtains are needed to keep the light out. The whole place needs a thorough clean and serious renovations.

Sleeping was out of the question with heavy traffic on the bypass intersection beside the hotel. Roadtrains kept braking and accelerating around the clock, 24/7. My room was extremely unpleasant too: dirty and infested with roaches, with a hole in the roof and doors that wouldn’t lock. The toilet leaked onto the floor, and the shower was broken.

The room itself was okay, if you’re fine sleeping with cockroaches. There were bugs everywhere even with the windows closed, and when I complained, reception was rude and said I should have asked for another room. But if one has cockroaches, the next probably will too. They blamed me and wouldn’t refund even some of the money. People were allowed to yell and argue all night, with the other residents neglected. I even had to clean the pool myself just to swim, and it was still dirty. Don’t stay here for more than a night or two. PICK ANOTHER MOTEL IN NARROMINE!!!

I’m writing about the Indian restaurant because we love the food and don’t want it to shut down 😝. We were completely blown away to find such amazing Indian food in rural Narromine. It’s the best Indian I’ve ever had!
