Luxury in Nelson Bay - Nelson Bay

We spent three nights here and everything was clean and tidy. Our room had a spa and was nicely set up, and there’s also the option to use the BBQ. A supermarket and seafood shop are in town, about an 800 m walk away. The place is really beautiful, and hosts Trish and Iain were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, with fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal and fresh bread made by Trish.

Ian was a relaxed, friendly host, and breakfast was a wonderful spread with amazing bread he made himself. We stayed in the regular queen room last weekend. It was clean, there were no spiderwebs, and our little patio looked into a beautiful backyard garden. They’d even left complimentary biscuits in the room. The shops are about a ten minute walk and the marina is a little farther. This was our first bed and breakfast stay, and it didn’t disappoint. The steep driveway was the one thing I wasn’t keen on, but it’s minor. Best wishes to Ian and his family for what comes next.

The house, room and gardens were immaculate, and the bed, shower and balcony were all wonderful. We had the best night’s sleep of our three weeks away, and the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. The hosts were wonderful, and breakfast was fantastic and beautifully prepared. We enjoyed a great conversation with them over the meal. I’d definitely return if I’m in the area and highly recommend staying here in Nelson Bay.

My first bed and breakfast stay, and I loved it. The owners were lovely and made us feel so welcome. The bed was really comfortable, the spa bath was amazing, and I especially enjoyed the continental breakfast and delicious homemade bread.
