Julie welcomed us with a cheese plate and drinks, and she was friendly and full of useful information. The whole property was immaculate, and our room was just as clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection. Shops and restaurants were only a short walk away, and we had undercover parking. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ve already recommended the Chaucer Palms to friends and neighbours, and would stay there without hesitation if we visit Newcastle again. Thanks, Julie, for such an enjoyable visit.

The king room with a spa was very well appointed, and this was easily the cleanest place we’ve stayed. It’s a lovely B&B a short drive from central Newcastle, about a $12 Uber trip. Parking off the street was easy, and the hosts were friendly. They even offer a free drink on Saturday nights. Breakfast didn’t have a huge range, but everything available was very good. We’d definitely return to the Chaucer Palms Boutique Bff ed & Breakfast.

Julie was really friendly, and breakfast was very nice. The B&B is in Hamilton, close to cafes, shops, and restaurants. I liked the bathroom and balcony, though the bed was very soft.
