We won the meat raffle, so dinner for another night is sorted. The staff and patrons were friendly, the service was great, and the prices were good. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and a meal. Till next time!

The pub rating options don’t really say much about the bistro, but that steak sandwich I ordered on UberEATS was one of the best I’ve had in ages. Delivery left it a bit dishevelled, though it was almost perfecto for me. A little extra caramelised onion would’ve made it just right. I didn’t realise chips came with it, so that was a nice bonus, and they were good too.

After the band on Sunday 1st February, we stayed for tea and the food was delicious. My mother in law asked for coffee afterwards, even though the machine wasn’t on. Andrew said he’d get her a cuppa, no problem. That’s great customer service. The staff were friendly throughout, and we’ll all be back soon.

Found our local while spending a few days in Wallsend. The whole pub had a relaxed feel, the locals seemed nice, and Andy behind the bar was awesome. Great spot for a few beers. I’d recommend it to anyone passing through.

I’m not usually much of a pub meal person, but we’ve eaten here four times now because the food is AMAZING. The menu has plenty of variety, including lots of vegetarian choices. The halloumi burger is delicious!
