The staff were warm and attentive without making a fuss, and the drinks were refreshing, well made, with a good range to choose from. The burgers were juicy, full of flavour and cooked just right. Those loaded fries were crispy, piled with toppings and hard to stop eating. We went in for what was meant to be a quick bite and were already thinking about coming back. A really good local spot in Maitland!

We started out on the sunny back deck, where there's a pool table, then moved to the front veranda to watch people and traffic go by. When another friend arrived, we sat inside by the fireplace. There are pinball machines too, and best of all, no poker machines. We'll come back in about a month to try the food, and we highly recommend checking this place out. It was our first visit after hearing good things. The decor mixes retro, shabby chic and vintage. Leah in the front bar was a delight, and we hit it off straight away. She made my friend an amazing zero alcohol drink.

The staff and service were wonderful, and the food is delicious, especially the sauces. I did leave a little hungry, though, because the gluten-free burgers are on the small side. It might be worth trying gluten-free buns from singelton heights bakery. They're the best in the region, and with your sauces and burger fillings, you'd have a winner.

The staff are always lovely, and the margaritas are spot on. Chilli mango is my favourite so far. We've eaten here quite a few times now, with entrees as well, and the food is consistently delicious, especially the sizzler bread. This is quickly becoming our favourite place for food and drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

I took my Mama out for lunch today, and we both ordered the house salad with chicken. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. Leah served us so nicely. I couldn't recommend the place more, stop by and support your local.
