Valley View Bed & Breakfast

We had a lovely two-night family stay and felt very welcome. The two-bedroom place had a large lounge and dining room, plus an outdoor table where we could have breakfast. The beds were comfortable, and beach towels were provided. There were thoughtful extras too, like free fruit and nibbles in the room. The delicious breakfast came in three courses and was so filling that we asked for mini pancakes as the third. Bruce makes a lovely iced pineapple drink. Thanks!

Swimming in the pool overlooking the valley during summer rain was a balm after a long day at work. This beautiful bed and breakfast felt like paradise, and I had the loveliest stay. The hosts and their friendly little dog made me feel cared for and pampered, going out of their way to keep me comfortable. There was plenty of nourishing food, and Bruce even laughed at my jokes. This is the best bed and breakfast I’ve stayed in. I hope to return soon.

Dawne and Bruce gave us a memorable stay, with sincere, caring, old-fashioned hospitality that’s hard to find these days. We stayed eight nights from 29 Dec 2024 during the Christmas and school holiday peak, but Dawne didn’t ask for a deposit, something we’d never experienced in 26 years of holidaying in Australia twice a year. Bruce shared excellent tips based on their vast local knowledge. They also service the rooms daily and manage everything themselves, without any help, which felt incredibly generous. The BnB is pristine and meticulously maintained. We had hot, three-course breakfasts made by Dawne every day, and she remembered my dietary restrictions from when I booked back in October. The breakfasts were exceptionally delicious and generous for such a reasonable stay. At other places, we’ve received only a simple continental breakfast basket the night before. We highly recommend it.
