Macquarie Inn At Club Macquarie

We had a river view, and the staff, especially Sonya, were very kind. The motel was in a prime spot for stopping on the way to Sydney for the grand final, and the price was very reasonable for grand final weekend. Our room was spacious, the air conditioning was perfect, and Foxtel was great. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but that’s personal preference, and the blackout curtains made sleeping in easy. We paid for the buffet breakfast. Our two-year-old enjoyed the kids’ room while we ate in peace, and the tunnel from the motel to the dining area was really convenient. No complaints. We’d highly recommend it and stay again.

The front desk service was great, and I had a terrific breakfast at the club in the morning. I booked a room at Macquarie four-star, behind the club, for a visit to music on the Green at Port Mac. The room was perfect. I especially liked the dimmer above the head of the bed, which let me adjust the light brighter or softer. You don’t see that in many rooms these days. Thanks to the staff for looking after me so well. If you’re passing through and need somewhere to stay and have a nice time, this is the place. Thank you, Macquarie 4 star.

We had a great view of cockle creek from our room. The venue was great, the room was spacious, clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. The $20 breakfast was good too.

The place turned out nicer than I expected and made for a pretty pleasant stay, though it didn’t blow me away. The rooms are a good size, modern, clean and nicely set up, with decent air conditioning. The bed was incredibly soft, and I’ve probably never had better pillows. It was relatively quiet and there was a crazy amount of parking. The pub is connected to the motel. There are a few downsides. You can hear people coming and going and doors banging, and there aren’t many power outlets near the beds unless you move furniture. I had to keep turning the hot water up to maintain the same temperature. Nearby dining is limited unless you drive, apart from the adjoining pub, which doesn’t serve food all the time.
