Panorama Motor Inn

Our room at the back near the pool was spotless, spacious, warm and comfortable. We had to push our arrival back because of the recent weather, but the staff member who welcomed us offered to move the booking so we could still have both nights. The greeting was personal and welcoming. We were really impressed, so don’t be put off by the mixed reviews.

The place looked nothing like the pictures and was in awful condition. The receptionist cancelled my reservation and refused to refund me because he said the office had closed and he was going upstairs at 8pm, just eight minutes before I arrived. There were no signs or rules about that on the website, booking site or office door. Since when do motels have a check-in cutoff? I’ve never been treated so rudely. I wouldn’t set foot in there again even if you paid me double.

We booked at the last minute after the other place we’d arranged turned out disgraceful. The staff here were lovely and really helpful. He was willing to wait for me and kept a room for us without needing any details. Customer service was a 10/10. The room was a typical small motel room, but neat and tidy, and the beds were clean and comfortable. Free WiFi and streaming were included, and it was family friendly. We’ll come back next trip.

There were dark hairs all over the bathroom and several dead insects on the shelves. The worst thing was finding a scab with dried blood and black hairs stuck to the top sheet. When we raised it with the Manager at checkout, he got defensive, then aggressive and rude. He offered a refund, then took the offer back. Thirty hours after we left, we got an aggressive call accusing us of leaving the room a mess, which we hadn’t. Take photos of the room when you arrive and when you leave if you book Panorama Motor Inn. I’d stay away.
