Having a fenced backyard was so convenient with our two Border Collies, and we were delighted to find a mango tree back there too. The garden was beautiful and relaxing even without decorations, and I can imagine it would look stunning during a wedding. We had a spacious room with a bedroom, tea room and bathroom. The old-style furniture was very well maintained and gave the place lots of character. It’s close to Maitland, where we charged our Tesla and shopped at Woolworths, and Maddies also offers breakfast, which was a nice bonus. I met Alison, who introduced me to her gentle, lovely German Shepherd. We loved our long weekend and would definitely come back.

The gardens are stunning, and Alison is such an accommodating hostess who makes amazing food. We loved our weekend at Maddies, with its cute rooms and peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. When we learned they also host weddings, we decided to get married there. It’s a very special place. Being dog-friendly mattered a lot to us, since so many places don’t allow dogs. Everything went perfectly from start to finish, and we’ll definitely come back to stay.

We’ve just had the best wedding and stay at Maddies. The venue is beautiful and the people are amazing. The team helped us prepare the celebration with run sheets and information, answered our questions quickly, and made sure everything was ready. The catering was wonderful too. We stayed in the guest accommodation for two nights, which was very comfortable, and the brekkie was amazing. We could bring our beloved dog as well.

We had a really enjoyable stop at this beautiful dog-friendly accommodation. Allison was kind and accommodating. Breakfast was the highlight, we couldn’t believe how much food there was, and it was all delicious.
