We were in our little campervan, so I can’t rate the rooms, though they looked nice from outside. The campsite was just right, well kept and a lovely spot beside the gum trees, with a short walk through the bush to the beach. Facilities were great and the staff friendly. Highly recommend it, and we’ll be back.

The private beach was a highlight, just a short walk from the villa and a lovely place to relax together. We had a wonderful family stay, with excellent facilities. The shared kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and both the kitchen and bathroom were clean, well maintained and convenient. We’d definitely love to come back.

The beach was only a short walk away, and we had fun exploring it in the mornings, collecting shells and looking in the pools for fish and little crabs. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow, while the clean BBQs were great for cooking. There was also a games room with claw machines, Pac-Man and table tennis. Just outside the park, a bakery had lovely treats and milkshakes that got the kids buzzing. The location worked well for us, about a 10 minute drive from Forest Caves, Cape Woolamai surf beach and the chocolate factory. Our two bedroom cabin was modern, very clean and had what we needed for a short stay. Check-in was easy, and a couple of small issues were sorted quickly without spoiling the stay.

The main letdown was the theatre. The manager couldn’t be reached after 5pm to let the kids finish their movie, so everyone was asked to leave halfway through. The food truck cancelled one night, then arrived over an hour late the next. With young kids needing bed, that was hard, and after we’d waited 40 minutes for it to open, there wasn’t even an acknowledgment. The games room was mostly coin operated, so you’d need a lot of money to play everything worthwhile. On the plus side, the long weekend had a great family atmosphere, with lots of kids on bikes. It was quiet, kid friendly, nicely located with beach access, and the grounds, camp kitchen and amenities were clean and well maintained.

It was a lovely, clean caravan park and very quiet, with little road noise. We parked our caravan easily, and it was the first caravan place we’d stayed at with synthetic turf for our pad. The welcome was warm and friendly.
