Having three days at Toorongo Valley Estate made the wedding feel like a proper celebration, not a quick event. Our guests were delighted with the facilities and the setting, too. We’d fallen for the place on our first tour more than a year earlier, including its location, the owners, the staff, and the lovely locals. Georgia and Warrick welcomed us so warmly, and their passion for the estate really showed. They were open about costs from the start, with no hidden surprises, and nothing we asked for felt too difficult. Gabrielle supported us through months of planning and right through the wedding day. She’s bubbly and lovely to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. We’d happily recommend the estate to anyone planning a memorable celebration.

The view from the hill by the old wooden cabin is spectacular, and we love wandering around the estate. We’ve been coming to the small cabins for years, and Toorongo Valley and the river have become our summer sanctuary. My partner’s favourite is a nighttime soak in the balcony spa, while I head to the river to fly fish. It’s one of Victoria’s most prolific trout streams, and the water stays cool even through the driest summers. Most of the fish are small, though every now and then you might be lucky enough to catch a one-kilogram trout. The cabins are comfortable and well kept, and work especially well for a couple, or perhaps someone hoping to become one 😉. Toorongo River Falls and the historic trestle bridge are nearby. Book a couple of nights. You won’t regret it.

The grounds made it easy to slow down and enjoy being outdoors. We spent the weekend walking around, sharing meals, relaxing, and taking in the peaceful valley setting. A shallow little river runs through the property, and the kids happily spent hours exploring and playing in it while we had drinks and nibbles on the grassy banks. We came with nine families, and between the main house, cabins, glamping tents, and camping areas, there was room for everyone without the place feeling crowded. Everything was equipped with more than we expected, so our big group could settle in and enjoy the weekend together. It’s a lovely spot for a group getaway, and we’d be happy to return.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and lots of our guests told us how much they enjoyed it. The team also welcomed our fun, crazy Latin culture vibes, so the celebration felt like us. The whole estate is breathtaking, and the setting, care, and people behind it made the weekend feel magical. We’re so grateful to Gabrielle, Georgia, Warrick, and everyone at Toorongo Valley Estate for giving us the wedding we’d dreamed of. We stayed from Friday to Sunday, and the accommodation was beautiful and spotless. It made the weekend feel relaxed and special for us and our guests. Gabrielle was supportive from the start, accommodated our expectations and even our last-minute changes, and stayed calm and reassuring when rain arrived on the wedding day. She eased our worries and kept things running smoothly. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for the team. They generously stayed well past the scheduled hours so our celebration could end perfectly, and their happy energy helped us feel looked after all weekend. We’ll treasure these memories forever. Thank you for making the wedding and the whole weekend unforgettable.

The creek view from our Manna Gum cabin was so peaceful. We were there with a large group of families who had exclusive use of the property for a long weekend, and the cabin was spacious, spotless, and charming. The shared facilities were excellent, too. The kids loved splashing and fishing in the river, toasting marshmallows, stargazing, and having the freedom to enjoy the outdoors. The adults got to soak up the quiet surroundings. It all felt magical, and we can’t wait to come back soon!
