Howard and Cathie are such kind, beautiful and caring people. They gave us total privacy and went out of their way to meet every need. The facilities were excellent, and the hosts were absolutely amazing, so thoughtful and kind. It was peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. We didn’t want to leave, and you couldn’t ask for more from this sort of accommodation. I’d highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed, and my standards are super high! Kelly & Keriti

We were only a five-minute drive from Gympie Terrace, where we caught the shuttle for our all-day Everglades cruise. The place is at the end of a cul-de-sac with bushland on one side, and it felt very quiet and private. Our hosts kept everything clean. The bathroom was spacious, with a shower and spa, and the bedroom had a king-size bed. The toiletries were good quality. We especially liked the strip lighting along the garden path, which made it safe to walk back to our room at night.

Howard and Cathie’s Howie’s Place on Seagull Circuit in Noosaville made my two-night visit to Noosa special. I was travelling alone for compassionate reasons, and found it quiet, private, serene and immaculate. It’s a peaceful cul-de-sac address near the geographical centre of Noosa. Taxis are typically $12 for anywhere in town, and Noosaville Shopping Village, the main shopping centre with everything, is 1.2 km away. I chose to eat all my meals in. Cathie offered driveway parking, though the quiet cul-de-sac makes parking easy. A separate path along the side leads to the guest suite at the back, opening onto a shallow garden. Beyond the fence is a fauna and flora reserve. The garden was lovely at night, with some night creatures happy to start chatting, and in the morning it became a lovely little al fresco space. The main room is large, with the best firm king-size bed I’ve slept on, a giant TV and a good wardrobe with an iron and ironing board. There’s a kettle, microwave and toaster for tea and coffee, plus fresh milk in the bathroom fridge. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan made sleeping on a tropical night comfortable. The bathroom is larger than what most hotels offer. The spa bath looks out at the courtyard through a picture window, and the shower is huge, with the shower head at a good height for tall people. The hosts also provide thoughtful extras, like maps, books and guides. Thank you, Howard and Cathie.

Howard and Cathie were really friendly, and their place makes a great base for visiting Noosa. We had our own private entrance to a lovely room with a leafy bush view. It had a super comfortable king-size bed, large flat-screen TV, WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, and a spacious ensuite with a spa bath.

A great little place for a quick trip up the coast to enjoy Noosa. The room had everything we needed, including an iron, and the king bed, spa and excellent shower were lovely. Had a great stay.
